History
The history of the university of Coventry goes up until in 1843 with the creation of the Coventry College off Design . In 1970, the Coventry College off Art , the Lanchester College off Technology and the Rugby College off Engineering Technology amalgamated to form the Lanchester Polytechnic . In 1987, the establishment was famous in Coventry College off Design and in 1992, following the Further and Higher Education Act , it was seen granting the statute of university and taken the final name of Coventry University (University of Coventry).
