University of Copenhagen
The university of Copenhagen (in Danish, Københavns Universitet ) is a Danish Université , with Copenhagen.
It is oldest and the greatest institution of teaching and research of Denmark with close to: 35000 students of which a majority of women (57%) and more: 9000 employees. The university has several campuses located at Copenhagen and the surroundings. The majority of the courses are exempted in Danish; however more and more of course are offered in English and somewhat in German. The University of Copenhagen east member of the International Alliance of the Universities of Research (International Alliance off Research Universities).

History
Founded in 1479 it is oldest Université of Denmark. And between the closing of the Studium Generale with Lund in 1536 was the only one and the establishment of the Université of Aarhus towards the end of the year '20. It became the theological center of the studies Roman catholics and , then of Droit, Médecine and Philosophie.Between the years 1675 and 1788, the University introduced the concept of examinations of diploma and title. At the end of this period all faculties imposed examinations before the emission of the diplomas.
The first woman coed was registered in 1877. Those are henceforth majority (currently 57%)
