The university Queen' S , called in English Queen' S University , or, quite simply, Queen' S , is a laic mixed university being at the edge of the Lake Ontario with Kingston (Ontario), Canada.

The university counts some 13 000 students of first full-time cycle and some 2 500 students of second and third cycles. The students of first cycle can study in the Social sciences, the Natural science, the Génie and the Commerce. Queen' S offers programs of second and third cycle in the same fields, in addition to schools of Médecine and Droit.

Sport

The team of Hockey of the university is known to be the first team to have caused in " duel" another team for the Cut Stanley in 1885.

Celebrities

Jay Malinowski and Eon Sinclair, the founders of the rock'n'roll group/reggae Bedouin Soundclash met both in Queen' S University where they studied.
