University Athletic Association
The University Athletic Association (or UAA ) is a conference of university sports which takes part in the 3rd division of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The members of this conference are located in Georgia, in the Illinois, the Missouri, the Pennsylvania, the Massachusetts, the Ohio and New York. The UAA is the only conference of the 3rd division whose totality of the members is affiliated with the Association off American Universities (a regrouping of an about sixty prestigious institutions of research). Owing to the fact that its members privilege of advantage the academic results to the scores, this conference is often called the " league cérébrale" or " Nerdy Nine" ().
Members of the conference
All these universities belong to the founding members, with Brandeis share. The Université Johns Hopkins was one of the founding members of the UAA but does not form of it any more part from now on.
