Universitas 21 is a global area network of Université S centered on the research, of which the goal is to be a “international point of reference and a resource for the strategic thought on subjects globablement significant”. On the whole, there are 600.000 students and 80.000 researchers associated with these universities, in addition to beyond of 2 million graduates.

Founded in 1997, Universitas 21 currently counts 20 universities members in 12 countries and territories.
