Unit Cobra

In the series of video game Metal GEAR , lunity Cobra is a allied unit founded by The Boss between September and December 1942 to fight the forces of the Axis.

The creation of the unit is due to the Philosophers.

The Cobras are the best soldiers of the countries Alliés (Russia, the United States but also France for The Pain). Their code name characterizes the emotion which they make feel with their enemies (joy, sadness, pain, fear, finitude, fury).

They are equipped with microphone-bombs which they must make jump if they are captured or about to die.

Parachuted at the time of the unloading in Normandy with for mission of destroying V2 enemies, the Cobra unit will lead the Allies to the victory. It is then dissolved by The Boss in 1947. The Cobras turn over then in their respective countries.

In 1962, The Boss kills The Sorrow at the time of a mission carried out for the Philosophers with Tselinoyarsk.

In 1964, it reforms the unit. Naked Snake will eliminate the surviving members at the time of the Operation Snake Eater.
