Union of the chambers of commerce and industry Frenchwomen abroad

the Union of the Chambers of commerce and Industry Frenchwomen abroad (UCCIFE) is an association law 1901 with nonlucrative goal. It gathers 112 Chambers of commerce and of industry Frenchwomen abroad (CCIFE) which constitute the first private network of French companies in the World, represented in 76 countries and joining together 23505 companies, including 50% of foreign companies.

The CCIFE members of UCCIFE are established in:

  • 25 countries in Europe
  • 9 countries in Africa
  • 5 countries with the Middle-East
  • 18 countries in North America, Power station and of the South
  • 19 country in Asia Oceania.

They are managed by nearly 800 permanent collaborators, biculturels for the majority.

This network, single in its kind and which generates practically the totality of its resources, plays a crucial role in the animation of the communities of French businesses abroad and in the support with the companies which want to develop with the International one.

Founded in 1907, UCCIFE, guarantor of name “Chambers of commerce and industry Frenchwomen abroad” ensures for the whole of the CCIFE a role of:

  • Representative and carries word official to France near the public authorities, of the consular companies and the companies
  • Promoteur of the CCIFE: to make known their services in the mediums of businesses in France and to develop partnerships
  • Stimulating network: to inform the CCIFE, to support the co-operation and the transfers to know to make between them
  • Coordonnateur of the policy and the activity of the CCIFE: by directing their developments and by proposing the attribution of the assistances

Chaired by Mr Serge Bellanger (Executive Vice-president of the CIC New York and President of the Free American Room in the United States), UCCIFE is managed by a Management Committee of 21 members made up of 15 Presidents of CCIFE and 6 Presidents of the Rooms of France (ACFCI/CCIP /4 CCI).
