The Union Pro Patria and Res Publica (in Estonian, Isamaa ja Res Publica Liit , IRL ) is a Estonian Political party , founded on June 4th 2006, during fusion between the Union Pro Patria and Res Publica. This new party holds 19 deputies out of 101 (elections of March 4th, 2007) and held of them 32 in 2006 at the Parliament (Riigikogu) and a European Député with the the European Parliament. It has approximately 8.500 members. It will have a single leader only in May 2007. Its candidate at the station of Prime Minister is Mart Laar. With the international level, he is member of the international democratic Union.
