Union Banking Corporation
The Union Banking Coporation ( UBC ) was a banking company with the the United States founded in 1924, which was seized, for exchange with the enemy (with the “Trading with the Enemy Act”), in 1942 after the entry of the United States in the Second world war. It was liquidated in 1951.
The president was George Herbert Walker and Prescott Bush, her son-in-law was one of the seven directors (it did not have like the other directors which only one action of this bank) of 1934 to 1943.
The company was shown to be an organization Nazie.
The family Thyssen, financial of Adolf Hitler, created UBC to manage the investments with the the United States. A report/ratio of the congress of the United States, described Union Bank like a “interlocking trust” with the German steel trust. UBC with also used to increase the incomes for the Germany and to have transferred illegally, of fuel technologies for aviation with the Luftwaffe.
In July 1942, an article of first page of the newspaper “New York Tribune” in connection with the bank was titrated “Hitler' S Angel has 3 million in US bank” (the angel of Hitler to 3 million in a bank of the United States). The “angel of Hitler” being Fritz Thyssen. This article started the investigation of the Congrès of the United States which closed the UBC.
