Under the sign of the Bull is a film carried out by Gilles Grangier in 1968

Synopsis

Engineer Albert Raynal devotes his life to research. He has just developed a rocket. The departure succeeds, but alas the rocket explodes in vol. This failure resounding will attract the greatest financial problems to him and family. His/her brother-in-law, Jerome Laprade, entrust to Christine, the wife of the industrialist, that it has of it enough imaginations of her husband. He even suggests to him divorcing to preserve, especially his two already large sons, a strong financial future compromised by extravagances of their father. But Albert Raynal, force of nature, are not estimated not overcome for as much. Although it costs him much of it, it tries near friends and of relations of the steps in order to join together the essential capital to save its laboratory and to continue its work. But all remain insensitive to its call. Even the beautiful Rolande, rich restorer, who had for Raynal leaning some before a few years, refuses to mortgage her restaurant. After a running away in Normandy, it reappears and wants to be constituted captive for a resounding bankruptcy. But Christine, by a moving reversal, gives up her divorce petition and will save her husband while allowing him to continue her work.
