Synopsis

During the Second world war, the German cruiser Atlantis leaves Hamburg with the order to run the greatest number of enemy vessels. Its captain, Bernhard Rogge, will apply his humane convictions even when its orders are to kill the enemy…

The history occurs during the war 39-45, with step badly of scenes of panic and bombardments.     Quand the director keep silent yourselves, it disfigures it and, very slowly, its voice resounds, calm, strong and without counterpart…
    - Oui, yes, it is very well… (a rather long time). But you will put your camera there… and I will do that, that and that…
    Le worse, it is that it is right perfectly. It is simpler and it is mieux.
    Nous we look at, flabbergasted. The director does not say anything any more. It carries out orders of Laughton.
    Comme us have all considering and re-examined Night of hunter and that we know of what he is able, it does not have nothing there to say… Laughton gives its service in three days of turning, tightens the hands with the round and goes back to London.
