Unabomber

Unabomber , of its true name Theodore John Kaczynski (born the May 22nd 1942 with Evergreen Park in the Illinois) is a Mathématicien and American Terroriste . Until now, it was the subject of the most expensive hunting for the man of FBI.

It fought against what it perceived like the demon technological Progrès , while engaging during 18 years in a campaign of sending of parcel bombs with various people, making three died and 29 wounded.

Before its identity is not known, the FBI referred to him like UNABOM (coming from “UNiversity and Airline BOMber”). Several alternatives of this name were used by the media: Unabomer , Unabomber and UniBomer .

Attacks

Its first parcel bomb was sent at the end of May 1978 with professor Buckley Crist of the Université of Northwestern. Smith of the polytechnic Institut of Rensselaer in the State of New York. The package is turned over to Crist. In 1994, an advertizing executive is killed by another parcel bomb. In a letter, Kaczynski justifies the murder by specifying that the interest of the public authorities in the development of the techniques proves to be for the handling of people. That is followed by the murder of the president of the Association of Sylviculture of California, Gilbert Murray, in 1995.
