Umicore
Umicore is a Belgian company of production of metals, in the past called mining Union , specialized in the production of Zinc and of advanced products (for new technologies), noble metals, catalysts, etc It is with dimensions on Euronext Belgium, index BEL20.
One of its important units is located in the north of France àn Auby meadows of Douai, on the edge of the Channel of the Field, not far from the site of Old the Métaleurop-North, now dismantled. These two factories are followed by DRIRE for their Pollution S and accident risks.
