Umag ( ita Umago ) is a city located in Istrie (Croatia). It is held there each year the Open of Croatia, a tennis tournament (on beaten Ground) pertaining to the circuit ATP and that in particular gained several times Carlos Moyá, professional player of tennis, old world number 1 in 1999. The city counts 7.769 inhabitants (2001) and has a surface of 87 km ².
