Bellême is a chief town of canton French department of the Orne (61), district of Mortagne-with-Pole in area Basse-Normandie.

Its inhabitants are Bellêmois and Bellêmoises.

Geography

Bellême is on a hill which dominates the Pole and a golf of 18 holes.

History
