Ultrafiltration

In medicine
The ultrafiltration is a method of Filtration Sang by convection through the membrane of a Dialyseur. It is a principle used in Hémodialyse but which does not constitute with him only a means of purification. It can however be used in urgency to evacuate a hydrous overload.
In Industry
The utrafiltration is a variety of filtration per membrane in which hydrostatic pressure constrained liquid against the porous membrane with water. The solids in suspension and the solutions of molecules of large sizes are adopted, while the water and the solutions of molecules of lower size pass through the membrane. This process of separation is used in industry as in research to purify and concentrate the macromolecular solutions, more precisely the solutions of proteins. Ultrafiltration is not basically different from the Osmose reverses, of the Microfiltration and the Nanofiltration, exepté in terms of size of molecule which it retains. These devices are characterized by tubular membranes or has plates whose porosity is about the micrometer.
