Ultimate Spider-Man

Ultimate Spider-Man , like the other series of the Universe Ultimate Marvel, is a modernized version of the character of Spider-Man, aiming at conquering a young public sometimes rejected by forty years of continuity. The series began in October 2000 with a scenario from Brian Michael Bendis and drawings of Mark Bagley.

Synopsis

Peter Parker is a fifteen year old teenager, very gifted classifies some but martyrized by some of his comrades. Since it lost his parents in an air crash, it lives with his uncle Ben and his aunt May.

At the time of a visit with its class in the Osborn companies, a genetically modified spider bit Peter. After being itself felt a few days badly, it realizes that this spider gave him a superhuman force, faculty to cling to the walls and a " sixième" direction which prevents it dangers. It then decides to use its new talents while taking part in wrestling matches to help his uncle and his aunt who have money worries. But when his/her uncle is assassinated by a robber whom it had to refuse to stop some time earlier whereas it on the occasion, it decides to put its capacities at the service of the others and to become a dispenser of justice, Spider-Man was born.

Its currency, which it holds of his uncle Ben, is: Of great capacities implies great responsibilities .

Capacities

Spider-Man has a superhuman force, it is able to raise a car with end of arm. It also can, a such spider, to cling to the walls and the ceilings, and it has a sixth direction which informs it in the event of danger.

Enemies

Dr. Octopus: Scientist, associated of Norman Osborn, the four metal arms that it used during its experiments are welded with its body at the time of the accident which was to give super-capacities to Osborn.
Caïd: He is the chief of the New-Yorkaise underworld. Peter refuses to accept that such a murderer can remain in freedom only thanks to his money and swearwas sworn to do everything to send it in prison.
Shocker : Shocker is in fact only one criminal who made 2 gadgets fixed on his hands to electrocute his enemies.
Venom : Venom is in truth Eddie Brock Jr. of which the father and that of Peter worked together on the Venom project which is a liquid costume which protects from cancer. Shortly after that Peter L `carried, Eddie discovered the truth by using the costume.
Carnage: Carnage is the fruit of L `experiment of Dr. Curt Connors thanks to échantillions of L `DNA of Peter who contained a little symbion.

Spider-Man faced many other enemies, such Electro, Kraven the hunter, Hammerhead, Vulture, Deadpool, Silver Sable, Scorpion, Hobgoblin and R.H.I.N.O.

Combined

Mary-Jane Watson: Classmate of Peter, it remained a time his boyfriend before he decides to leave it, because he did not support any more to see it in danger. But Peter returns with it, following the saga of the clones.
Aunt May: Since the death of Ben Parker, May only deals with Peter. It is now its only family.
X-Men : It met them during its adventures and tied bonds with Wolverine which made it pass for a distant cousin. Peter leaves for some time with Kitty Pryde alias Shadowcat. Both are not together any more since the end of the saga of the clones.
Fantastic Furnace: It also met Johnny Storm, member of Fantastic Four, during the short period when this one was pupil in his college. Having the same problems, they bound of friendship. Also Fantastic Four helped Peter to solve the mystery of the clone of Peter who was in a costume of Scorpion.
Nick Fury : The director of the SHIELD helped Spider-Man several times during his adventures, but one cannot say that the two characters like much. Even less since Nick said to Peter that it would belong to the SHIELD the day of his 18 years (following its illegal change) and also since Peter put a punch to him. Nick Fury acknowledged in Peter whom it feared that this one cracks and becomes the next super-unpleasant one, but following the saga of the clones, Nick Fury acknowledges that it was wrong about Peter and that he is likely to become one of largest hero the than the Earth knew.

The series Ultimate Spider-Man is published in France by Panini in the review of the same name, like in albums in bookstore.
