Ultimate Adventures

Ultimate Adventures is a mini-series in 6 episodes published between November 2002 and March 2004 in the line Ultimate Marvel of Marvel Comics.

The main characters of the history are pastiches of Batman and Robin.

It is the first title of the Ultimate line to introduce characters who are not a new version preexistent heroes of the Univers Marvel.

Synopsis

A young teenager, Hank Kipplin, alive since his birth in an orphanage definitively lost any hope to be adopted. But one day, a man as rich as mysterious takes it along with him. It is the Hawk-Owl superman.

To note

the title was published at the time of " U Decide" , competition which opposed Joe Quesada, Bill Jemas and Peter David. Each one of them was to launch a title: Jemas scénarisa Marville , Peter David started again Captain Marvel and Joe Quesada supported Ultimate Adventures . The sales on 6 episodes were to decide the best, of which the series perdurerait. Captain Marvel gained the competition while Ultimate Adventures was handicapped by the delays of the draftsman.
