Ulrike Guérot

Ulrike Guérot is research director transatlantic (Senior Transatlantic Fellow) for the Berliner antenna of the German Marshall Fund .

Work

Formation: Dr. Guérot has a doctorate in political sciences of the university of Munster and Master in political sciences and international relations of the institute of political studies of Paris.

She currently works on the respective roles of the United States and Europe in the international institutions and the development of constitutional Europe.

Before joining the GMF, Dr. Guérot the unit “European Union” of the Council of the foreign relations directed German (DGAP) to Berlin. This station, it undertook research on the European Union and contributed to the strategic preparation of the European policy of this Council.

She also worked as professor-assistant in European studies in the Paul H. Nitze School off Advanced International Studies of the university Johns Hopkins, Washington D.C. ; as research director for the group of influence (think tank) Grouping of Studies and Research `Our Europe' based in Paris; and like member of the personnel of the Commission of the businesses external of the German Bundestag.

Dr. Guérot regularly publishes articles having milked with the European businesses and is a frequent commentator for the BBC, CNN, and for several television German. It is member of the European movement Tönissteiner Kreis, Gesellschaft für Übernationale Zusammenarbeit (GÜZ) ( Société for the supranational co-operation ) and association Jean Monnet.
