Ulrich von Bek
The count Ulrich von Bek is a character of fiction invented by the English writer Michael Moorcock. He is amongst other things the hero of a cycle of fantasy the Pact of Von Beck.
The family von Bek is atypical in the work of Moorcock because Ulrich and his descendants are at the same time Champion eternal and companion of the champion eternal. One regards them as the guards current of the Saint Graal.
Moorcock rewrote several of its old novels and news so that the characters who had other names previously are now family members von Beks. Thus retroactively, von Bek became one of the most important actors of the Multivers.
