Ulrich Plenzdorf (born on October 26th, 1934 with Berlin - died on August 9th, 2007 in the same city) was a writer and German scenario writer . In 1950, by communist ideology, it had moved West Berlin towards East Berlin, then was shown very critical with regard to the Réunification of Germany, comparing it with the Anschluss.

Career of novelist

• New sufferings of young W. , (1972). Its novel more known, translated in addition to thirty languages and sold to several million specimens. It evokes the discomfort of a young East Germany, tie of the parallels between its life and that of Goethe.

He was also the scenario writer of the Legend of Paul and Paula (1973), a film worship in the East Germany.
