Ulrich Plenzdorf (born on October 26th, 1934 with Berlin - died on August 9th, 2007 in the same city) was a writer and German scenario writer . In 1950, by communist ideology, it had moved West Berlin towards East Berlin, then was shown very critical with regard to the Réunification of Germany, comparing it with the Anschluss.
New sufferings of young W. , (1972). Its novel more known, translated in addition to thirty languages and sold to several million specimens. It evokes the discomfort of a young East Germany, tie of the parallels between its life and that of Goethe.
He was also the scenario writer of the Legend of Paul and Paula (1973), a film worship in the East Germany.
