French rock group Experimental Bruitiste, , Post-rock'n'roll
Originating in Paris, formed in 1993 by Amaury Cambuzat and Olivier Manchion, Ulan Bator is today a reference as regards European Post-rock'n'roll. Their fame in particular widened through their collaborations with the German collective Faust and, in 2000, the exit " internationale" of the 2 wanted produces by Michael Gira (Swans…). Ulan Bator is also one of the rare projects having reconciled this musical genre and the French language while having a success growing in France,… and elsewhere. After a beginning of third millennium animated concerning the composition of the group (but always also diverting and adventurous in its musical production), Ulan Bator reappears for the énième time in 2005: Cambuzat and Manchion (which is of return after a lasted escapade 4 years), take again the reins of the project together, integrate a new beater, Alessio Gioffredi, and in parallel take again service with Faust. Cambuzat and Manchion work today on next the opus of Ulan Bator, to appear in 2007
