Uintah (Utah)
Uintah is an American city located in the Comté of Weber, in the Utah. According to the census of 2000, its population rises with: 1127 inhabitants, estimated in 2003 at: 1205 inhabitants. Uintah was founded in 1850 under the name of East Weber. Union Pacific Railroad has named station very close Deseret (a name which comes from the Livre of Mormon), renamed Uintah in Amerindian homage to the ethnos group local. This change applied thereafter to East Weber.
