Udange
Udange (in German Udingen ) is a Belgian village of the city of Arlon, located in Walloon region in the Province of Luxembourg.
It is located has 7 kilometers of the downtown area.
Udange has a population of approximately 400 inhabitants.
Etymology
Old form: 1473 Udingen
The final - angel (Germanic - ingen ) means " at those de" ; Udo is a Germanic anthroponyme.
History
The FIT left the seigniory of Koerich and Udange (town hall of Habergy, Duchy of Luxembourg) and the parish of Wolkrange.
Amalgamated with Toernich under the French mode.
Anecdote
January 7th, 1945, a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, the famous American bomber of the Second world war, is crushed with some steps of Udange.
