Ubiquity

The ubiquity is the capacity to be present in several places simultaneously. The term is derived from the Latin “ ubic ” which means “everywhere”.
Religions and mythology
Ubiquity is an attribute many divinities.According to the Old Testament, God has a property considered to be much stronger: the omnipresence, which means that it is in any place constantly.
Physics
In Mechanical quantum, an interpretation of the Paradoxe EPR which does not violate the limit speed of light requires to admit that the two particles form a single system, which exists at two places at the same time.
Literature
It is the case of the narrator who uses the sentences “at the same moment, on the other side of the city” or “he did not think like her”. It thus transports the reader in several places (physics or psychic) simultaneously.
Sociology
In sociology, the ubiquity of the capacity is defined as follows: The capacity is everywhere, it is not that it includes all, it is that it comes from everywhere. The capacity it is not an institution, it is not a structure and it is not a certain power with which some would be equipped, it is the name which one prète with a strategic situation complexes, in a given situation.
Data processing
In data processing, ubiquity makes it possible several systems to share same information. It is the case for example for the network games, where each participant observes the same thing on his screen, at the same moment.
