    • Alberta
    • Colombia-British:
      • In the North-East, the major part of the regional district of the Peace To rivet (in particular Dawson Creek and Strong St John)
      • In south-east:
        • regional District of East Kootenay
        • regional District of Central Kootenay in the east of the river Kootenay and certain parts in the east of the Lake Kootenay in the south of Riondel
        • regional District Columbia-Shuswap in the east of the Mounts Selkirk
      • the corridor of the Highway 95
    • Nunavut:
      • Left the area of Kitikmeot in the west of the 102 {{E}} meridian west
    • Saskatchewan (only the zone around Lloydminster)
    • Territories of the North-West (except Tungsten)

Geography

UTC-7 corresponds in theory to a zone whose Longitude S lie between 97,5° E and 112,5° E and the hour initially used corresponded to the average solar hour of the 105 {{E}} meridian west.

In the United States and Canada, the time zone is called Mountain Standard Time (standard hour of Rock, summary in MST).

Summer-time

Almost the whole of the areas located in this time zone observe the Summer-time and pass then to UTC-6, except:
  • In Mexico, the State de Sonora
  • In the United States, the State of Arizona (but the reserve of the Nation Navajo observes the summer-time, while the reserve Hopi which is included in the first does not observe it)

Reciprocally, the parts of America with UTC-8 are found at the summer-time with UTC-7.
