Historical reference marks
The club is founded in 1920 under the name of “Arago Sport Orléanais”. Arago is the sporting section of “Saint-Benevolent Patronage” founded in 1899, but until 1920, this patronage does not have a section football. In 1976, the section football of Arago joined the general sports club of “US Orleans” and adopts this name. This modification makes it possible the club to benefit from the modern installations of the Stade of the Source. Before this date, Arago evolved/moved at the decayed stage of the street Moine.
