The U.S.D.M. is illustrated in Coupe de France by hanging participations in the 16es of finale in 1923 and 27 and with the 32es of finale in 1922 and 24. Become Union Racing Dunkirk-Malo, the Dunkirk club reaches the semi-finals of the Cut Charles Simon 1929 after having drawn aside, inter alia, the U.S. Switzerland, Excelsior of Roubaix and the U.S. Boulogne. In Colombes in semi-final vis-a-vis Sète, the Dunkirk ones incline 2-1 following a goal sétois with the 87e minute. Let us quote here the composition of the Dunkirk team which faced the F.C. Sète: Gianelloni, Jensen, Decrocq, Schutt, Longuemarre, Hebdin, P. Boudois, Carru, A. Boudois, Dron and Devriendt. Confirming its formidable course of 1929, Dunkirk disputes the quarterfinals of the Coupe de France 1930, then the 16 be of finale the following season. Become Olympic of Dunkirk, the club reaches the professional statute in 1935. Evolving/moving four seasons in D2, the Dunkirk ones are still illustrated in Coupe de France by reaching the quarterfinals in 1937. The O.D. loses all during the second world war: stage, leaders and manpower. With the release, the club sets out again of zero. Until 1950, the Dunkirk club remains in the second plan. The period thin cows is completed when the trainer Emilien Meresse joined the club….
