EMU (União Metal-worker-Mecânica) is a Portuguese car manufacturer specialized in the 4x4, agricultural and utility vehicles, founded in 1977. It took again the continuation of the manufacture of old the " Cournil" auvergnats, before manufactured (since 1965) with German St Laval (the Loire).

Today the company always produces vehicles for the private individuals. It provides especially the Portuguese gendarmerie, and produced also certain vehicles of firemen and soldiers.

Several vehicles of the mark took part in the Paris-Dakar rally, carrying out good performances. The French importer is located at Etupes, in Doubs.
