Tzéélim

Tzéélim ( צאלים ) is a Kibboutz located at the South-east of the crossroads Maguen in the Negev.

Tzéélim is founded in 1947 by a group from which the members come from the movements Gordonia, Hashomer Hatzaïr and Betar. Its name comes from many the Jujubier S (" Tzéélim" in Hebrew) present in the area. He is used as a basis for the forces of Tsahal during the Israeli-Arab Guerre of 1948.

The kibbutz extends on a surface from 24.500 dounam and counts 300 members. Its agricultural activity is based on the culture of cereals, orchards, of mangos and fodder plants, a cattle shed and a hen house.

Close to the kibbutz, on each side of the road connecting Tzéélim to Ourim, the archeologist Rudolph Cohen discovers in the years 1980, of the prehistoric vestiges. Near to the cemetery of Tzéélim, the vestiges of an establishment of the X {{E}} century before JC are put at the day by the Goufna archeologist.
