Operation

When the assemblies sit at Douglas once a month between October and July, they are chaired by the president of Tynwald, which is elected by its pars. The joint sessions are devoted to a certain number of tasks:

At the time of a vote in joint session, each room votes separately. If a favorable majority emerges in the two rooms, motion passes.
