Two years of holidays
Two years of holidays is a Romance of Jules Verne published in 1888.
15 old boys from 8 to 14 years, all boarders of a college of New Zealand, find themselves on the Sloughi which derives and makes quickly shipwreck on a deserted island of the Pacifique. Little by little, in company of foam, only survivor of the crew of the ship, their life organizes himself and improves, but of the competitions are felt more and more in the community of the fifteen survivors. A scission is about to take place when gangsters approach the shore, obliging the children to use all their force of cohesion to face them. Finally, they will turn over on their premises after two years on the island " Chairman".

- very freely by the Realizer Karel Zeman in a film of 1966, the stolen Airship left to France in 2004 after having obtained in 2002 the price Art & Public Young Test with the Festival of Aubervilliers.

- in the Animates Mujin wakusei Survive which is a futuristic adaptation.

Around the book
The name of Briant, the young French chief, is a reference to the young person Aristide Briand who had strongly impressed Jules Verne.
