Comments
This series worship of the the Eighties was regarded as innovating for the time because using diagrams a little different from the usual receipts. The scenes are carried out like video clip, rythmées by the standards pop-rock'n'roll of the time: the image is superb, the scenarios of quality hold in breath to the last scene which often finishes badly. The musical aspect plays a big role in the series, in particular the talented type-setter Jan Hammer, author of the music of the credits. Other artists universally known like Phil Collins, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, Michael Jackson and Tina Turner also contributed to the success of the series. The two main actors (Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas), their appropriate dresses very typified (Lanvin, Armani, Versace), white costume Lanvin for Don Johnson and the cars which they led (a counterpart of black Ferrari Daytona, then white Ferrari Testarossa), also largely contributed to the success of the series, as well as humor present in filigree in all the episodes (boat supervised by an alligator, Elvis)
Michael Mann worked with the adaptation of its series to make of it a homonymous film, left the August 16th 2006.
