Two Brothers ( Two brothers ) is a French film, British of Jean-Jacques Annaud, left the May 7th 2004, with as main actors Guy Pearce and Jean-Claude Dreyfus.

Synopsis

The history proceeds in the Twenties, in Indo-China, during the French colonization of this area, and she tells the history of two young tigers, two brothers, who are born far from all civilizations, in the ruins of one temple to last splendor.

But whereas the two small tigers grow quietly in their natural environment, they are captured by plunderers, come to seek some Asian statues. The two brothers separate then will be sold, one with a local prince, the other with a circus.

Years later, they will be found in the fatal decoration of an arena, within the framework of a combat between the two cat-like ones. But during this bloody battle, they will be recognized, and managed to flee.

The film cost approximately 60 million euro, but reported only 20 of them to the American boxoffice. Nevertheless, it gained a rather good success in Europe.
