Synopsis
Two racing drivers live on the road in their Chevrolet of 1955, drifting of city downtown by defying the autochtones on circuit to earn their living. We follow them travelling on Road 66 since Needles, in California. They charge a hitch-hiker with Flagstaff in Arizona then meet another wandering runner at the wheel of its Pontiac GTO " Orbit Orange" 1970 and defy it with a race towards Washington, D.C. The characters are not identified, they are only " The Driver, " " The Mechanic, " " The GTO, " and " The Girl". On the way towards the East they cross the small towns of California, Arizona, Nouveau Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and of the Tennessee, but will never arrive at Washington D.C…
