Use

The air parts are edible; pollen can be used to make a kind of bread and the starts-up can eat themselves with the manner of asparaguses. The underground parts can be adapted in cooking or ground to make flour. This flour would in addition have very good taste and of the properties completely similar to the cereal flours.

Although the culture is about non-existent, one calculated that the production of flour to the hectare would be of 60 quintals and this, without preliminary genetic selection. Its culture in moist environment would have moreover the advantage of emphasizing grounds usually considered as lost.
