Twenty-second district of North
The twenty-second district of North is one of the 24 French electoral constituencies which account the department of the Northern . It is represented in XIIIe legislature by Christian Bataille (PS). Its substitute is Freddy Dolphin.
Geographical and demographic description
The twenty-second district of North is delimited by the electoral Découpage of the law n°86-1197 of the November 24th 1986 , and the following administrative divisions gathers:
- Canton of Berlaimont
- Canton of Carnières
- Canton of Cateau-Cambrésis
- Canton of Quesnoy-Is
- Canton of the Quesnoy-West
- Canton of Solesmes
According to the general Census of the population in 1999, carried out by the National institute of the Statistics and Economic studies (INSEE), the total population of this district is estimated at 97.765 habitants, .
