Twentieth Century Fox Animation is an American production company of cinema . It is a subsidiary company of the Fox Entertainment Group which is held mainly by News Corporation, the Australian group of Rupert Murdoch.
Twentieth Century Fox Animation was created in the middle of the Années 1990 to produce, as its name indicates it, of cartoon films. The first three productions of the company were cartoons carried out by Don Bluth and Gary Goldman: Anastasia (1997), Bartok splendid the (1999) and Titan A.E. (2000).
Following the failure of Titan A.E. , the company gives up traditional animation to be devoted only to the computer animation. It closes its studios of Phoenix and double manpower of its subsidiary company of computer graphics Blue Sky Studios to accelerate the production of the Age of ice of Carlos Saldanha and Chris Wedge. The film leaves in 2002 and makes join again Twentieth Century Fox Animation with success.
