Twentieth Century Fox

20th Century Fox or Twentieth Century Fox (in the past Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation ) is one of the most important American production companies of cinema. The seat of the studio is located at Century City in the west of Beverly Hills in California. 20th Century Fox is a subsidiary company of the Fox Entertainment Group which is held mainly by News Corporation, the Australian group of Rupert Murdoch.

The 20th Century Fox was created in 1935 by fusion of Fox Film and Twentieth Century Pictures under the presidency of Sidney Kent. Fox Film had been created by William Fox. Twentieth Century Pictures had been created in 1933 by Darryl F. Zanuck, a former producer of Warner Brothers, and Joseph Schenck, the former president of United Artists.

The largest cinematographic success of Fox remains obviously Titanic (1997) of James Cameron with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet (more than 600 million dollars of receipt)

Of 1995 with 2005, 20th Century Fox and UGC join by creating the GIE UFD.
