A tv news (term used in Belgium and France, often called under the Initials JT ) or téléjournal (term used with the Swiss Canada and in and sometimes under the sign TJ ) is a newspaper of Information diffused by a chain of Télévision. This bulletin of news is generally animated by a presenter, more or less recurring, who introduces the reports carried out by the teams of journalists of the drafting of the chain or by external news agencies (AFP, Sipa etc), and which can also comment on and/or summarize information of the day.
In France, the 20 hour old tv news, named the 20 hours is a ritual very followed by the televiewers since the Années 1960. Since the end of the Années 1990, under the influence of competition and the race to the Audimat, the leader-writer S policies as well as the commentators who analyzed the topicality before, and gave information international policy in prospect almost disappeared from the large tv news, even public, which is often satisfied to give information to the chain, almost without analysis, like if the facts and the images were sufficed for themselves. Certain bodies of Written press play now only this part of analysis and reflection on the Actualité that the JT gave up.
Since the middle of the years 1980, the newspaper in images introduced the new shape of tv news without apparent presenter, the news being commented on in " voice off" , going against the mode of rise to the row in high-speed motorboat in the presenters.
In Belgium, the first Belgian tv news appears only in 1956, presented by Robert Stephan. Between 1953 and 1956, TV-Brussels was restricted to disseminate information of the “Relay of Paris”.
Distinction JT - JP
The tv news is different from the radio news according to certain characteristics resulting, above all, of less long programming in television than out of radio. Moreover, the diffusion of a JT is less malleable than that of a JP outside-broadcasting van, a musical beach can be easily stopped, contrary to a television program.

While referring to the daily JT, 5 principal types can be highlighted:

France
The first French tv news is presented by
Pierre Sabbagh the
June 29th 1949, since the Parisian studios of the single chain of the time, located street Cognacq-Jay.
Since its privatization in
1987, the chain made the bet propose two editions per day, the first with 13:00, clearly directed towards the rural public (most in front of their television station at this hour) and covering specifically regional and Franco-French subjects, the second with 20:00, more Parisian and national, directed towards the urban public and covering more general subjects like politics, economics, the facts of company and the international topicality. This bet proves to be paying since the newspapers of TF1 are followed in France.
The first public channel proposes eight editions per day, very with vocation national and directed towards all the public ones. The JT of France 2 cover general subjects with an insistence on the international topicality.

- JT Nuit : presented in alternation by Laurence Stake, Jean-Claude Renaud and Eve Metais.
The chain counts nearly 13 regional draftings, a national drafting and the drafting of
France 3 Sat, based it with Ecully, close to
Lyon.
- the 12/13 : daily newspaper of information, copied on the principle of the 19/20 (see below). Presented by Stephan Lippert, replaced by Francis Letellier.
- the 19/20 : presented in week per the journalist Audrey Pulvar and the weekend by Catherine Matausch. This edition of daily information was created on May 6th, 1986, in particular by Henri Sannier, which ensured of it the Rédaction as a chief during several years. Its principle is simple: to detail information international, national, regional and local in two distinct shutters. The International and the Nation Al are treated by a national Rédaction based with Paris, the regional and local current events being covered by the teams of the draftings " régionales" based a little everywhere in France. During actually much more than one hour (of 18:35 to 20:00), this alternation of national plans and regional makes it possible to cover the Actualité in all its forms, of the made various " in front of at soi" until the remote conflict. The French adaptation of this formula was possible by the creation of regional draftings in tens of French big cities, which were then supplemented more punctually by local offices of information .
- Evening 3 : presented in week by Marie Drucker and the weekend by Francis Letellier. It is the Journal evening of the third French public channel. Initiated by Jean-Marie Cavada in 1978 after reflection and analyzes Anglo-Saxon models (like the heute-newspaper of German ZDF); Soir 3 always occupies the row of first go of the information of the evening in France. “Dominique Baudis presents the newspaper, Henry Chapier animates a chronicle cinema there. Installed in a decoration living room with a table of Mondrian, Evening 3 of the years 1980 is the fruit and the incarnation of all the drafting ¹.” Despite everything, its schedule of diffusion is very fluctuating: the newspaper can as well be diffused just after the first film (approx. 22:40) as after one evening complete (between midnight and an hour of the morning). That should theoretically change with the re-entry of September 2006 where this program would find a fixed hour. From February 2002 in March 2003, the night emission “Evening 3,20 years” had as a principle of repeating editions of Evening 3,20 years exactly after their diffusion.
The chain forever have drafting since its creation. The reports of its newspapers were produced by the agency WRAPPED. Since the creation of its chain of information,
I-TV, Canal+ uses the drafting of the latter, amalgamated with his.
After an unfruitful test of traditional JT to its creation in 1987, the chain invented the newspaper all in image summarizing all the topicality in six minutes, then ten minutes today. Since 2006, M6 returned to the traditional newspaper with presenter by installing the 12:50.
