Tutuş
Tutuş is a sultan saljûqide of Damas (1078) and of Alep (1085), wire of Alp Arslan and brother of Malik Shah Ier.
In 1078, the Turkmène Atsiz, threatened by the Fatimides in Damas calls the sultan seldjoukide Malik Shah I {{er}} with its assistance. This one sends his/her Tutuş brother to him who rectifies the situation. But Atsiz is killed by Tutuş which founds the Seldjoukide dynasty of Syria (1078 - 1117). Tutuş takes Jerusalem, Jaffa and Saïda.
It overcomes the seldjoukide of Rum Süleyman I {{er|}} with Alep in 1085. He then entrusts the city to Ak Chungkur, father of Zanki. He takes Antioche (1086), where he kills Süleyman, then walk on the Anatolia in order to eliminate Abû' l-Qasîm, regent for the young person wire of Suleyman, Qilij Arslan Ier, then held with Baghdad. The Byzantines oblige it to withdraw themselves.
It is killed the February 26th 1095 as a combatant his nephew Barkyaruq. Its sons share its possessions. Ridwan reign on Alep and Dukak on Damas. The capacity is entrusted to Atabey S.
