Tussenhausen is a Bourgade located in the district souabe of Bottom Allgäu (Bavaria).

Geography

Tussenhausen is in the area of the rivers the Danube and Iller.

History

The Tussenhausen village belonged to the seigniories of Angelberg then of Schwabegg; it was attached to the principality Bavaria in 1680. Since 1455, Tussenhausen had the right to hold gone and of many prerogatives. The current commune was created in 1818 following the administrative reforms.

Population

The commune counted 2091 inhabitants into 1970,2360 in 1987 and 2874 in 2000.
