Tussack

The tussack (called feather-grass sometimes) is a nickname given to the tufts of grass pushing in wet meadows in the moderate areas.

This name gathers several species belonging to the families of the Graminée S of the Campanulacées and Cyperacées.

It should be noted that there exist two English names:

  • Tussock
  • Tussockgrass (grass with tussack) is reserved for the species of the kind Nassella .
