Turung
The Turung are people of the Assam in India.
The language turung is now extinct. It was the only one representing sub-group known as " Eastern central" Languages tai of the branch " kam-tai" Languages tai-kadai.
Turung speak the singpho, a dialect of the Jinghpo (the language of the Kachin of Burma) interfered words tai.
