Turnu Măgurele

Turnu Măgurele is a city of the Judeţ de Teleorman, Valachie, Romania. It is located at approximately 125 km in the south-west of Bucharest, at the border with the Bulgaria. The city was built around the port means-âgeux of Turnu. To the south-east of the city, the river Olt is thrown in the the Danube. There are vestiges of a Roman bridge on the Danube builds in 330 by Constantin Large the, but today, the crossing towards the Bulgarian city of Nikopol is done by ferry.
