Turner Broadcasting System (or TBS ) is an American audio-visual group, subsidiary of the group Time Warner. TBS holds also participations in clubs of sport and the real estate. In 2004, TBS employs 8000 people and is chaired by Philip I. Kent.

The most known network of the TBS is the chain of information uninterrupted CNN. Today, the CNN group includes/understands 15 television networks per cable or satellite, 2 networks of radio and 12 Web sites.

TBS is also the company-mother of television networks TBS, TNT, Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movies, Turner South and Boomerang.

Lastly, TBS has the team of the Braves of Atlanta and the Web sites nascar.com and pga.com.
