Turn of the Future 2006
This 43e edition of the Turn of the Future, started from Charleroi in Belgium, to the vacation center “Marcinelle in Mountain” on the commune of Saint-Nicolas-the-Vault in Savoy.
This turn consisted of 10 stages for a distance of 1.393 km.
Its course passed by the mountainous solid masses of the Vosges, the Jura and the Alps and made it possible to discover new talents among the professional racing cyclists of less than 26 years. Among them:
- Braces Duenas Nevado victorious in the Bresse and victorious of final general classification on the heights of Saint-Nicolas-the-Vault in the center of Marcinelle in Mountain.
- Edvald Boasson Hagen Norwegian of 19 years and which gained 3 stages out of 10, it triumphed in Mount-Saint-Martin, Nancy, Ornans.
