Turn of chest
The turn of chest is an anatomical measurement expressed in Centimètre S.
Health
Measure thorax, while passing by the areola.
Bra
This measurement is especially used for the sizes of the bras of the Femme S, at the same time as the bonnet.
To determine the size of sound Bra, it is necessary to measure its turn of back and its turn of chest . It is American, Ida Rosenthal , which invented this system in 1928. The size of a bra since is defined by two criteria: the figure (85, 90,95…) corresponds to the turn of back, and the letter (has, B, C…) with the depth of the bonnets.
For the first measurement, use one meter ribbon, which you will just place in lower part of the chest, if your turn of back is included/understood:
-
Between 68 and 72 centimetres, your size is of 85;
- Between 73 and 77 centimetres, it is of 90;
- Between 78 and 82 centimetres, it is of 95;
- Between 83 and 87 centimetres, of 100,…
For the second measurement, you will have to place the Mètre at the point of the centres to determine the depth of your bonnets. It is the difference between the two figures (under chest and chest) which determines the size of the bonnets, as follows:
-
Bonnet a: difference in 13 cm
- Bonnet b: difference in 15 cm
- Bonnet C: difference in 17 cm
- Bonnet D: difference in 19 cm
- Bonnet E: difference in 21 cm
- Bonnet F: difference in 23 cm
If the difference is not an integer, it is necessary to test the sizes above and in lower part, and to adjust with fasten.
