Turn of Saint-Triphon
The turn of Saint-Triphon is the vestige of the keep of an old castle located at the top of the hill of Saint-Triphon in the Canton of Vaud.
The imposing castle is mentioned at the 13th century although its construction is probably former. It was destroyed at the time of the Guerres of Burgundy. Visible by far in the Chablais, the tower is surrounded by several archaeological vestiges of which some were put at the day at the time of excavations. The ruins of an old Romance vault are next to the tower.
