Turco-Mongolian
The term turco-Mongolian gives an account of the high degree of mixture of these two families of people and languages at the beginning close and originating in the Asia in the North-East. The term tatar-Mongolian is also used.
Although the Turkish Languages and the Mongolian Langues are regarded as two branches of the family of the altaïques Langues, an abundant stock of common or very close vocabulary makes that it is often difficult to determine the Turkish or Mongolian origin words concerned.
When with the People Turkish, they constituted a good part of the Mongolian armies and contributed “to also turn over” the soldiers Turkish of the States attacked by Gengis Khan, thus contributing to its striking down successes.
Tamerlan resulted from a Mongolian clan installed in Transoxiane, an area of Turkish language also influenced by the culture Persian. In its case, the term of emperor turco-Mongolian is particularly adapted.
